A Step-by-Step Road Map for Parents

1) Apply

  • Your student must start by filling out an
  • Submit the $50 application fee. If your student has a verified fee waiver, submit that to admissions@ccsu.edu
  • Have your student's school submit an official high school transcript
  • If your student is not test optional, have their official scores sent from College Board or ACT

3) Academic and Advising Information

  • Help us create the perfect schedule for your student's first semester. Have College Board, ACT, or their high school forward official test scores to Admissions@ccsu.edu.
  • If we determine your student needs to take the Math Placement Accuplacer Exam, contact The Learning Center at 860.832.1900
  • If we determine your student needs to take the Writing Placement Exam, review the Writing Placement Exam page for more details.

4) Paying for College, Living on Campus, etc

  • On-Campus Residents must complete a Housing Application
  • Review/Accept any financial aid offers
  • Pay your student's Tuition & Fees. Once they register for classes, their status is switched to "Enrolled". This will generate a billing statement. Tuition is due on December 15 for Spring term, and July 15 for Fall term.

5) Orientation information

Orientation welcomes new students to 91精品, offering engaging programs led by Orientation Leaders in January (for spring admits) and throughout the summer (for fall admits). Orientation focuses on connecting students with peers and support services, introducing academic resources and advising, and providing essential tools like student IDs and course schedules.
